


This international standard specifies requirements for a food safety management system that aligns the key elements of ensuring food safety, as it also includes the principles of the hazard analysis and critical control points system and the steps for its application.
The Food Safety Management System mainly includes compliance with Slovak and EU legislative requirements for food production and marketing, compliance with the general principles of good manufacturing and hygiene practice, and last but not least, establishing a system of critical control points (HACCP).
The ISO 22000 standard is applicable to all organizations involved in the food chain, regardless of their size or operations, that want to demonstrate their commitment by implementing a system that provides consistently safe products.
